Bino BT is the future of the industry - Manager
Singer Bino BT has been rated as the future of the Nigeria music
industry by his manager, Ice Monk who said that talented musicians
like Bino BT are the hope of the industry which is currently
undergoing transition.
Speaking in Owerri, during one of his promotional tours in the state,
Buchi Ikechebelu aka Ice Monk added that although talent and quality
have not been favoured in the country's music industry, there is still
hope for artistes who can use pen and paper to put down good lyrics.
“Everybody wants to dance these days and it has not been helping
artistes who spent time to write songs because if it is not danceable,
the artiste will surely be on his own.
I know the industry did not start like this, it's just a matter of
time and we will bid this era good bye and I see the next era
favouring artistes who can wright.
Rappers can then bring out the poetry in them, while singers will do
their bits as well” He said.
Ice Monk however said that everyone can still fit into the current
trend if he can make little adjustments in his style, which was the
area he hailed Bino BT who is almost done with a song that can
comfortably lead him to stardom.
Bino BT is artiste/model who is currently signed to Underground
Records and so far has released songs and videos that have featured
on the best radio and TV stations in the country such as MTV Base and
others.
On the release of Bino BT's next single, Ice Monk said that it won't
be a big problem circulating the song nationwide because his artistes
is already known nationwide and fans are always waiting for something
great from him.
“I was attracted to Bino BT because of his quality and that is
something that keeps improving. He did a wonderful job on the song,
and I wish that words can play it.
We are currently giving it some finishing torches and soon the release
date will be announce” he added.
